About us
Greater New Kingdom Church was founded in 2003 under the visionary leadership of Pastor Sean E. Lawrence in Memphis, Tennessee. We are a non-denominational church with a membership of about 75 members. Our mission statement is “SAVING THE WORLD, ONE SOUL AT A TIME” - Matthew 24:14 – And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
At Greater New Kingdom Church, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. We are a life-giving, multicultural church and our goal is to infuse life and God’s love into people and families through engaging, powerful worship services that offer biblical truth in relevant and practical ways.
As a church we are committed to leading souls to Christ, living a lifestyle that is holy and acceptable to God, training children, youth, and adults according to the teachings of the Holy Bible, being a loving and caring fellowship of believers, reaching out in love and compassion to all who are in need, and standing for justice, righteousness, and peace in the world.
We currently have weekly worship services on Sundays at 12:00 pm and bible study on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm.
what we believe
-
We believe that there is one God represent in three persons: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe that the Bible is the uncompromising and infallible Word of God.
-
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was born of the Virgin Mary, died for the sins of all men, was buried, was resurrected from the grave and ascended into Heaven.
-
We believe that Jesus has gone away to prepare a place for believers and that He will return to earth!
-
We believe that God’s ministries are not limited to any particular gender or race.
-
We believe in the power of prayer and that every believer has access to God through prayer.
-
We believe that Baptism by immersing in water, after Salvation, is an act of obedience to God.
